What kind of makeup does a greek goddess wear?!?
I’m being a greek goddess for halloween, and I’m dressing up tomorrow.
This is what I’m wearing:
Dress (In natural): http://store.americanapparel.ca/rsa0300.html
String (In gold): http://store.americanapparel.ca/rsa0500.html#i
I was thinking of straigtening my hair, and braiding a piece of my hair on one side.
But I have no idea what kind of makeup?! Like what colour? Should I do winged eyeliner? I have fake eye lashes.
Thanks
What are you being for halloween? Are you dressing up for school?

dust translucent powder below your eyes to catch any glitter that falls. then create a sticky base by applying a layer of chapstick to lids. brush gold glitter onto your lids close to lashlines, then apply the silver glitter from you creases to your brow bones.
try: make up for ever glitter #1 and #2,13$ each, sephora.com
if you dont like it try a earthy brown with a little bit of silver and do winged lashes. keep your hair straight and make a headband to go aroun your head
Create dramatic eyes. Apply a light gold eye shadow as a wash on your eyelid. Use a dark brown matte eye shadow in the crease of your eye for contouring. Be sure to blend it using a blending brush. Line your eyes with black eyeliner. Extend the liner at least 1/2" from the end of your eyelid. This will create a cat-like affect. Line the inner rim of your bottom lashes with gold eyeliner.
Apply bronzer. Greek goddesses tend to have that golden bronze tint to their skin. Use your powder brush to apply the bronzer to your face. Apply it in light layers. Remember, it is easier to keep on layering it on as opposed to trying to remove excess bronzer. Blend away any harsh lines with a powder blush.
Apply lipstick. You can use either a burgundy or nude shade to create your lips. Line your lips with lip liner and blend the lines with a lip brush. Fill in your lips with your favorite lipstick.
Hair: OMG THIS IS CUTE

A greek goddess probably wouldn’t wear any makeup because since she’s a goddess, she’s naturally beautiful! So I’d do my makeup very pretty and natural, using a lot of browns and golds.
When I think goddess, this is what I picture.
Wavy, loose hair that is very natural and isn’t styled. Think bed hair.
A slightly red lip, perhaps a stain or a gloss so that it’s not too heavy and looks natural.
Natural eye makeup colours. Either browns, golds, greens, pinks.. I think that a nice earthy brown colour with gold over top, or gold all over the lid and shimmer dark brown in the crease would look nice, but nothing too harsh. Black liquid liner, winged if you want to and can do it properly, but keep it on the thin side. Highlighter (you can even use the gold shadow, just lightly dusted on) on the brow bone, tear duct and some shimmer on the cheek bone and temple, mascara and light amount of blush that is your natural colour.
I would skip on doing anything to the lower lash line, just to keep the eye looking open and airy and to keep it simple. At most, just apply a bit of mascara to lower lashes.
Basically, anything that looks airy and light. I don’t think that straight hair would look as nice. I also don’t get a greek goddess vibe from the dress, but that’s just me (perhaps because I dislike American Apparel with a fiery passion?) I’ll put some links to looks that I think would be nice, but most of them I’d cut out the lower lash line parts.
