My boyfriend and I have been invited to a British Fancy Dress party and are unsure what we should go as.
He is a big, bald Greek man and I am a strawberry blonde Aussie girl.
I’m thinking about going as a Spice Girl, either Ginger or Baby, but unsure what I should wear.
As for what he should go as though, I’m really stuck.
If anyone has any suggestions, maybe a couple that we could go as it would be much appreciated.
We’re both in our late 20′s if that makes a difference.

I wanted to wear my hair down with a soft wave to it since our ceremony is on the beach, but I think this is an ‘updo’ dress.
I like the updo the model has, but any other SIMPLE ones – no flowers, lots of pins, hair spray… I’ll be doing it myself before I get married.
I just new this was the one. Even on a hanger, I knew! I’ve got a boyish figure and the draping gives me curves. And it doesn’t look like i’m of to a greek fancy dress party.
. It’s the dress a bride to be dreams about but never does she think she will find it but I did.
(Photos of the dress)

there are other photos of it in my photostream.
I’ll be wearing a long veil with it for the actual ceremony.
My hair is thin, long and naturally has a soft curl / wave to it.

what should i dress up as for new years? im going to a hugeeee fancy dress party and i need an alright costume
the ideas iv had so far are: a sailor, a pirate, a cowgirl or a greek / roman (with a toga etc.)
but then i kinda thought that these are a bit too generic and theres going to be a load of people in the same thing..
anyone got any other ideas? oh and i realllyy dont have time to go out nd buy a proper costume from like a fancy dress shop, so it needs to be a diy kind of costume.
any help would be really appreciatedd

Hi so i bought this white dress. comes just above the knee, flowy. and its in a greacian style. low v neck with some gold bands round the empire line. I was wondering wether that was ok for a black tie event.
because when i wear it it looks really nice but it makes me look like im going to a fancy dress party as a greek goddess?!!

I’m going to a fancy dress party where the theme is Greek Mythology. Any ideas? I don’t have much money for a costume.

I’m going to a fancy dress party as a greek/roman (i’m wearing a roman style dress with some drapey gold fabric and sandals etc). I need a nice hairstyle!
I read somewhere that roman women often piled their hair up in curls. I have a curling iron so i can curl it easily. Its shoulder length. I want something not too difficult that i can incorporate gold braiding and or leaves into. I don’t want to have to go to the hairdressers but i’m not awful at doing hair. Anyone got any good ideas?

I have a fancy dress party in september, now, my girlfriend is going to be a Greek Godess or a Roman Woman. I am going as her counter part a Greek Hero or a Roman Soldier but I cannot find one good roman/greek costume that looks good, I want it to have a good look to it, like it is actually roman or greek.
Does anyone have any ideas that can help me?
Cheers
Where would I find kratos’s armour?
