you could just wear a robe with various segments, and a big belt and boots and bracers, and johnatan, the real greek god of war is Ares, that was just a parody game

2. get things that look like them (swords, lighting…sheets lol)

Basically the basic garment for men and women in Ancient Greece was the Chiton. In Rome it was the Tunica, which are pretty much the same thing. Think of a knee-length shirt with a belt on which a money bag a sword and similar useful things can be hung. Wear sandals and a cloak and you will look just like the heroes on old Greek Vases.

Over the Tunica on formal occasions the Romans wore a toga. You can get away with a sheet and an undershirt in that case. Of course that is usually what party people wear but that’s a minor detail.
