		<description>Basically the basic garment for men and women in Ancient Greece was the Chiton.  In Rome it was the Tunica, which are pretty much the same thing.  Think of a knee-length shirt with a belt on which a money bag a sword and similar useful things can be hung.  Wear sandals and a cloak and you will look just like the heroes on old Greek Vases.

Over the Tunica on formal occasions the Romans wore a toga.  You can get away with a sheet and an undershirt in that case.  Of course that is usually what party people wear but that&#039;s a minor detail.</description>
