How should I make a greek goddess Halloween costume?

I want to be a greek goddess for Halloween, and I want to make my own costume. I don’t want a costume design that looks like some stripper threw up on me either. I just want a respectable costume that I can wear to go trick-or-treating. I’ve been searching the internet for about an hour and can’t find any really good costume ideas. I want the whole shebang too. Laurel wreath, maybe some makeup, hairstyle, sandals, everything. Whoever can give me the best answer wins 10 points!
Again, I want to MAKE MY OWN COSTUME! I need directions, and pictures of those directions. I don’t want you to just show me pictures and expect me to konw how to make it.
