I am being a Greek goddess for Halloween with a toga-looking dress, gold jewelry and shoes and a gold headband. I have fairly light skin, strawberry-blonde hair and blue eyes. How should I do my makeup?
I have to dress up as a greek goddess for a project and make a greek food. I would like ideas on how to make my own costume or where I can find one. Also, and good recipes or websites that have easy to prepare meals?

I want to make my own costume, and I want a Simplicity Pattern. I’ve looked on their site and the greek dresses they have are ugly. I want my dress to look great on my boobs, and have a tie under the bust to accentuate it and my waist. Then I want the dress to flow away from my body.
Are there any Simplicity patterns that look like that, and can pass for a greek goddess-type dress?

I’m planning on being a greek goddess for Halloween. I have permed black hair that almost reaches my shoulders. It gets curly when I shower. How should I style my hair, and are there any greek goddesses with black hair? I want to look authentic. I don’t want to be a black haired goddess that, in reality, actually has blond hair.
First of all, I know its way early to be thinking about halloween. But last year, I had like the worst costume ever, so this year I wanna plan ahead. I’ve already decided I wanna be an egyptian or greek goddess, but idk which I should be: 1. Egyptian or greek? 2. After you choose which one then which one in the egyptian or greek mythology? My literature class is doing a project where everyone picks a greek god or goddess, researches them and makes a costume of them, and then has a community wide "wax museum" display made of students dressed as their characters. I can’t sew very well but my grandmother can. I have absolutely NO idea how to do this. I wanted to do Pandora, Athena, Calypso, or Aphrodite. I don’t want to buy a costume, i want to make it myself so there is no chance of someone coming looking exactly like me. I have a white dress, but it’s not in the school dress code and i don’t know if i could do anything with it. Any ideas on how to make an awesome costume would be great!
Aphrodite is normally nude, and well that isn’t really an option. I need a school appropriate costume, any ideas would be great!
